bgrm is a small tool that removes the background from an image you upload, or from an image at a URL you give it. By using it, you agree to the following.

1. What the service does

You submit a photo — either as a file or as a URL we fetch on your behalf — and we return a version of it with the background made transparent. Processing runs on our server using an open-source model (rembg / isnet-general-use).

2. Your content

You're responsible for what you submit. Don't submit images you don't have the right to use, or content that's illegal, infringing, or that you don't have permission to process. If you submit a URL, you're responsible for that URL — we simply fetch whatever it points to at the time of your request.

3. Acceptable use

No automated abuse, scraping, or attempts to overload the service.
No attempts to use the URL-fetch feature to probe, attack, or access systems other than the public image you intend to process.
No uploading of malware or attempts to exploit the service.

4. No warranty

The service is provided "as is." Background removal is done by an automated model and won't always be perfect — we make no guarantee about accuracy, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, bgrm and its operator aren't liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

6. Changes

These terms may change as the tool evolves. Continued use after a change means you accept the update.
